The previous clinical director of our artificial heart program, Prof. Dominik Wiedemann, has been appointed Head of the Department of Cardiac Surgery in St. Pölten, effective January 2024. His successor in the artificial heart program is Priv.-Doz. DDr. Julia Riebandt. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Wiedemann for his outstanding dedication and wish him all the very best in his new role.
