On March 12, 2024, Prof. Francesco Moscato, Lorenzo Civilla, along with their colleagues M. Königshofer and E. Unger, were awarded the prestigious MedUni Vienna “Honorary Prize for Excellence in Teaching.” This award recognizes outstanding contributions to teaching, particularly through the introduction of innovative methods and approaches.In collaboration with neurosurgery colleagues (P. Dodier et al.), they were honored for the introduction of 3D printing and augmented reality in neurovascular surgery education. This project integrates cutting-edge technologies to enhance surgical training and provide a forward-looking, practical learning experience.
